Payments, fees and payouts
Guests pay online when they book on your website or through a chatbot. Zittle collects the payment and pays it out to your bank account every week.
The platform fee
Section titled “The platform fee”Guests pay a platform fee on top of your ticket price, shown as one line at checkout. You keep the full ticket price you set.
| Guest’s phone number | Convenience fee | Transaction fee | Platform fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indian number | 3% | 2% | 5% |
| Any other country | 3% | 4% | 7% |
The fee is worked out on the amount the guest pays online, after any package discount and coupon:
- On a ₹1,800 ticket, a guest with an Indian number pays ₹1,800 + ₹90 = ₹1,890, and ₹1,800 is yours.
- If the package takes a ₹600 deposit, the fee is only on the deposit: the guest pays ₹600 + ₹30 = ₹630 online, and the ₹1,200 balance to you at the venue.
- Offline tickets have no platform fee.
Your website’s Terms & Conditions page, at yourstudio.zittle.in/terms-conditions, shows the exact rates for your account.
When you get paid
Section titled “When you get paid”Payouts are weekly. Every Monday, Zittle pays out the online payments received up to the end of the previous Sunday, to the account in your bank details.
Only the money paid online goes through payouts. A balance due at the venue, and offline tickets, are paid to you directly.
The Payments page
Section titled “The Payments page”In your dashboard, go to Payments.

- Total Payment, Total Payout Done and Payment Pending: totals for the bookings shown.
- To be paid out: what your next Monday payout comes to. It covers all your bookings, whatever filters you choose.
- Each online booking, with its Payment Status: whether it has been paid out to you yet. Select a Booking ID to open the booking, which shows when it was Paid out to you and in which payout.
- Filter by month, product, venue or date.
When something is taken off your next payout, To be paid out lists why:
- Bookings waiting to be paid out: the paid bookings in the next payout.
- Refunds and cancellations to take back: money refunded to guests for bookings that were cancelled.
- Plans paid from your payouts balance: your Zittle plan, if you paid for it from your payouts.
If more is to be taken back than is waiting, the difference comes off your following payouts.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”When a paid booking is cancelled, the guest is refunded what they paid online, minus the platform fee. If you’ve already been paid for that booking, the refund is taken back from your next payout. See Manage bookings for how to cancel a booking.
